Session Terms & Conditions

By booking a session with Stacy Murphy & Aimee Sims, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Session Fee & Retainer

A non-refundable retainer/session fee is required to reserve your session date and time. No date will be held without payment and a signed agreement.

The session fee covers the photographer’s time, planning, styling guidance, hair and makeup (if included), studio preparation, and the photography experience itself. Digital images, products, albums, wall art, and prints are purchased separately unless otherwise stated in your selected collection.

2. Rescheduling Policy

We understand that life happens. Clients may reschedule with at least 72 hours’ notice. One complimentary reschedule is allowed.

Additional reschedules may require a new retainer fee.

If the client cancels completely, all monies paid are non-refundable.

3. Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time for your session. Late arrivals may shorten the session time to avoid impacting other scheduled clients. Arrivals over 30 minutes late may require rescheduling and may incur a rescheduling fee.

4. Hair & Makeup

Professional hair and makeup artists are independent contractors. If hair and makeup are included in your session, please arrive with clean, dry hair and a clean face unless instructed otherwise.

Hair and makeup services are non-refundable once booked.

5. Image Selection & Ordering

Clients will select their favorite images during an ordering appointment or reveal session. Only purchased images/products will be delivered.

Unpurchased images are not included and will not be released.

All sales are final due to the custom nature of photographic artwork.

6. Artistic Style & Editing

Clients acknowledge they are familiar with the portfolio and artistic style of Stacy Murphy Photography & Aimee Sims Photography. Final edited images are delivered at the photographers’ artistic discretion.

RAW/unedited images will not be provided.

Additional retouching requests beyond standard editing may incur an additional fee.

7. Copyright & Usage

All images remain the copyright of Stacy Murphy & Aimee Sims.

Clients may print and share purchased digital images for personal use only. Images may not be altered, filtered, edited, sold, or submitted for publication without written permission.

Commercial or business usage requires a separate licensing agreement.

8. Social Media & Marketing

Stacy Murphy & Aimee Sims may use images from sessions for studio marketing, website, social media, advertising, portfolio display, competitions, and educational purposes unless the client requests privacy in writing before the session.

Boudoir clients and privacy-sensitive clients may opt out of image sharing.

9. Client Responsibility

The client is responsible for communicating any allergies, injuries, sensitivities, or physical limitations before the session.

Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising children during sessions.

The photographers are not responsible for accidents or injuries during the session.

10. Archiving Images

Purchased images are archived for up to 12 months after your session date. After that time, Stacy Murphy & Aimee Sims are not responsible for maintaining image files.

Clients are encouraged to back up all purchased digital files immediately.

11. Model Release

By signing this agreement, the client grants Stacy Murphy & Aimee Sims permission to photograph the client and participating family members during the session.

12. Liability

In the unlikely event of illness, emergency, equipment failure, or circumstances beyond control, liability is limited to the return of monies paid.
